Oleta’s father Francis has died, and she must return to the small Oregon town she left behind to put together the shattered pieces of the past. Rippling with mystery and emotional force, Beekeeper takes us on a journey from past to present and blurs the lines between what is, what could have been, and what must be. After the playboy Petruchio's father dies, he finds himself without a livelihood, without a woman and most importantly without cash. He learns that his friend Hortensio wants to marry the beautiful Bianca, but not before her shrewish sister Katherine is wed. Petruchio jumps at the chance to woo Kate for her generous dowry. When he meets Kate and learns that she is just as powerful as he is, he is smitten. Enjoy this gender-bending modern take on William Shakespeare's classic tale of romance.
